About the Scottish Skipper Expo
The Scottish Skipper Expo has grown to be the largest commercial fishing exhibition within the UK. If you are involved in the fishing industry, it is the ideal place to network with likeminded people, do business with our exhibiting companies and understand what is new in the fishing industry.
Organiser, Mara Media continually assess the feedback from both visitors and exhibitors. With this, the 2024 Expo will see a new show layout to maximise the viewing potential of each stand and to allow for more boats to be displayed. Additionally, the event will be held on a Thursday and a Friday this year, which will create many benefits for all visitors. They look forward to welcoming everyone to the 2024 show.

We support the commercial fishing sector in the UK through:
- delivery and funding for mandatory and voluntary safety training,
- guidance and advice on selective fishing gear,
- engagement on fisheries management
- collection of data on the performance of the industry.
Our Kingfisher services also provide information related to surface, subsea hazards, and gear-based fishing restrictions around the UK.
The Bulletin app and website provides live and personalised hazard alerts direct to your phone; the FishSAFE system provides the latest UK oil & gas infrastructure; and the KIS-ORCA system maps subsea cables and windfarms in Northern Europe. All available for your fishing plotter.

Date and venue for the Scottish Skipper Expo 2024
The event will take place at the P&J Live Exhibition Arena in Aberdeen on Thursday 9 May & Friday 10 May 2024.
You will be able to explore and network between 10am – 5pm on Thursday and between 10am – 4pm on Friday.
