Alongside our partners; the Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs (Defra) and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), we will be hosting another 264sqm pavilion at Seafood Expo Global.
This will be our fourth consecutive year at the show and demand for exhibition space has been very high.
What can you expect on the UK pavilion?
The UK seafood pavilion will be in the same prime location in Hall 2, at stand 2I601.
The pavilion will have dedicated exhibition space, a communal lounge area and a private meeting room. The lounge is available for all UK seafood businesses to host meetings with existing clients or to forge new business connections. Businesses seeking a quieter space can use the private meeting room by prior appointment (subject to availability).
The pavilion will also feature a live kitchen serving up imaginative dishes that showcase some of the best seafood from around the UK.
The Live Kitchen
The pavilion will feature a live demonstration kitchen, via which a team of UK chefs will prepare, cook and serve a variety of fish and shellfish dishes that showcase some of the UK’s best seafood.
The kitchen will be led by acclaimed chef, CJ Jackson – previous Chief Executive of The Billingsgate Seafood Training School in London, and also a food writer and broadcaster. CJ will be supported by two sous chefs from the Training Academy at the Elior Group, one of the world's leading operators in contract catering and support services.
Visitors to the UK pavilion at SEG25 will have the opportunity to sample a variety of prepared dishes utilising such fish and shellfish species as blue lobster, brown crab, langoustines, mackerel, sardines, salmon, scallops and whelks. Expo visitors will also have an opportunity to chat to the chefs and meet the respective exhibiting companies that sell and export the featured species.
The Exhibitors
We are delighted to welcome at least 14 seafood exhibitors to the pavilion this year. They represent businesses of all sizes from across the UK and will be showcasing a wide range of species from sardines to scallops, brown crab to cod, and langoustine to lobster.
The UK pavilion serves as a hub for exhibitors to gather valuable insight into the seafood supply chain, meet with existing customers, and explore new business opportunities.

But don't just take our word for it, here's what our exhibitors said last year:
The key benefit of exhibiting is the ability to exhibit our products and meet existing and new clients.
The UK pavilion provides a unified point for UK businesses to promote their businesses under the GREAT Britain & Northern Ireland banner, giving them the ability to give a much larger impression at a show of that size.
It’s key as a central space for meetings, and our own branding on the booth helps showcase and tell the story. Everyone knew where to find us.
The UK pavilion was a focal point for our customers to visit and a chance to grow our presence on European markets.
Does the UK pavilion offer facilities for non-exhibiting UK businesses?
Yes!
- We warmly welcome all UK seafood businesses to use the communal lounge area to network, meet clients, and conduct business.
- The private meeting room is available by prior appointment to all UK seafood companies, subject to availability. Whilst UK pavilion exhibitors will have priority access, the private meeting room will be available to book for non-exhibiting companies from February 2025.
- Representatives from Seafish, Defra and DBT will be on hand to provide insight and advice to support your export trade plans.
- We are working with Defra and DBT to plan activities and events for UK seafood businesses during the Expo – details of which will be added here soon.
