Sea Trials on a 150H.P. Dual Purpose Trawl (Model - Full Scale Correlation)

Summary

This report describes sea trials carried out aboard MFV Sydo on a dual purpose prawn/whitefish trawl of 500 x 90mm mesh fishing circle. The Sydo is a 46ft trawler with a 170 h.p. Gardner engine. The purpose was to gather technical data on the gear performance to a high enough standard to use for a model - full scale correlation exercise.
