Verité aims to ensure that globalisation is made to work for poor and vulnerable people around the world. Verité has conducted a range of private and public research efforts on indicators of forced labour, human trafficking, and other labour problems in various seafood supply chains and conducts a range of compliance activities (e.g. audits, trainings, capacity building, labour broker due diligence, strategic consultation) and works with companies on model compliance plans.
Verite solution-oriented training programs are designed to provide practical tools, skills, and knowledge to build controls into everyday business practices. The programs help bridge gaps in systems and processes, overcome implementation obstacles, deepen commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) values, create sustainable improvements, and empower workers to participate in solutions. We provide training to facility staff, brand CSR staff, and auditors throughout the year, all over the world.
