Scallop Spat Collection
Scallop spat collection at Ardtoe followed the patterns of previous years. Standard and commercial collections were set in Loch Ceann Traigh. Peak collection was in July. A 40% increase in Pecten settlement was notec over the 1985 season. This report has been produced from a scanned original and may therefore contain some formatting and other inaccuracies. In cases where this affects the technical content, a paper copy of the original report can still be obtained from Seafish. -
